Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- you will have kitchen support to cook for 3 nurseries
- to ensure any dietary/cultural/religious preferences are catered for
- to order, store and cook food appropriately
- to participate in keeping the kitchen clean and safe
- we are an outstanding nursery, looking to appoint a kind, considerate and caring Nursery Chef to ensure that all dietary needs are met and that children are eating a varied, nutritional diet each day
- the successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of breakfast, lunch and tea, as well as ensuring the kitchen is cleaned to a very high standard
- no evenings or weekends and Christmas off
- do you possess excellent cooking skills and a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate? Are you able to engage with children? Do you appreciate the importance of providing children with healthy, nutritious meals? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you
Requirements
- minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
- previous experience of working in a Nursery or School setting highly desirable
- excellent cooking skills
- clear DBS
- good timekeeping and organisational skills
- an enthusiastic, flexible, can-do attitude
