- pulse is looking to hire a Data Scientist on a full time basis, based in Wokingham
- the role is key part of Pulse's strategy to keep its place in the market
- it services existing customers, providing key insights
- pulse, part of Acteon Group, are a market leader in subsea structural monitoring providing highly sophisticated monitoring systems and services to both oil & gas and renewables clients around the globe since 1998
- duties/Responsibilities
- engage with customers, understand customer needs supporting the commercial teams, and identify potential opportunities for new product offering
- review and analysis of Customer data, identifying trends, anomalies
Requirements
- the candidate will have very good interpersonal skills and able to engage and articulate with a customer
- strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, statistics as well as be highly proficient in C#, or other equivalent languages
- the candidate must also have had substantial experience working on new insight engine strategies
- have 5 years of working experience working with in data science and analysis capacity within a fast-paced and complex business setting, preferably working as a Senior Data Scientist or Analytical role
