Responsibility

  • carry out and record initial assessments on all new learners
  • ensure that learners take part in a suitable programme of study for the required subjects
  • deliver different aspects of our curriculum
  • ensure the exam policies and procedures are undertaken within the school
  • ensure that the desired success rate is achieved for all Functional Skills Delivery
  • be able to plan sessions in accordance with scheme of work
  • be able to assist in the school throughout the day

Requirements

  • an outstanding track record along with being reliable, professional, hardworking and punctual
  • preparing, planning and delivering Functional Skills, literacy and numeracy ranging from Entry Level 1 to Level 2
  • the ability to work in a target orientated environment and achieve required measures of success and quality
  • PTTLS, DTLLS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • experience in the delivery and assessment of accredited qualifications
  • assessing Qualification
  • experience of unsupervised working and using own initiative
  • ability to work in a challenging environment
