Responsibility
maintain the database to ensure that all required information is kept up to date
follow up all enquiries and quotations promptly. Review the database daily and take any action required
focus all efforts on generating the required level of sales revenue, following processes diligently and reviewing progress regularly with line manager
actively promote the organisation’s products and services on social media. Attend exhibitions
follow all appropriate H&S systems for site visits, including using the appropriate PPE
take a strategic approach to identifying target customers across the Midlands and South of the UK, carrying out thorough research, meticulously planning and preparing for every phone call, email and site visit
ensure all site visits are exploited for maximum benefit, ie meet the right people, walk the plant, record all useful information and continually seek opportunities to use the company’s Make it better approach
Requirements
highly commercially astute, able to create or recognise a sales opportunity and capitalise on it
A proven track record in sales, ideally in powder processing sectors
technical knowledge of equipment and processes used in powder processing sectors
tenacious and target driven. Ambitious and highly motivated to succeed
self-starter, proactive
meticulous planner who pays excellent attention to detail
ability to listen well
