- consolidated Financial Statements
- financial Accounting
- financial Reporting
- qualified ACA or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years' post qualification experience
- prior Big 4/Top 10 external audit experience is essential
- strong technical accounting skills including knowledge of reporting under IFRS
- experience of managing a team is desirable
- demonstrates willingness to take ownership and accountability
Responsibility
- preparation of accounting memoranda for complex transactions, including the accounting implications under IFRS; and
- management of the group consolidation process
- managing and overseeing the audit process, including agreeing timetables and ensuring timely delivery of audit information
- preparation of the quarterly management report and providing commentaries to management
- provision of additional explanations and analysis as required
- researching technical accounting issues and preparation of accounting memos for non-routine commercial transactions
- liaising with external auditors and preparation of audit support schedules and working papers
- managing junior members of the finance team
