  • consolidated Financial Statements
  • financial Accounting
  • financial Reporting
  • qualified ACA or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years' post qualification experience
  • prior Big 4/Top 10 external audit experience is essential
  • strong technical accounting skills including knowledge of reporting under IFRS
  • experience of managing a team is desirable
  • demonstrates willingness to take ownership and accountability

Responsibility

  • preparation of accounting memoranda for complex transactions, including the accounting implications under IFRS; and
  • management of the group consolidation process
  • managing and overseeing the audit process, including agreeing timetables and ensuring timely delivery of audit information
  • preparation of the quarterly management report and providing commentaries to management
  • provision of additional explanations and analysis as required
  • researching technical accounting issues and preparation of accounting memos for non-routine commercial transactions
  • liaising with external auditors and preparation of audit support schedules and working papers
  • managing junior members of the finance team
