production operator
Responsibility
- test products in accordance with ASL’s Test instructions and verify test reports are filed correctly
- assemble products in accordance with ASL’s manufacturing build instructions
- check availability of parts for product build and consumables and report shortages to purchasing
- identify, report and quarantine non-conforming material found during assembly and test
- identify and report on errors in production notes, test procedures and drawings
- identify improvement opportunities
- support Goods-in with product inspection and sample test
- provide technical support to other departments in producing equipment prototypes, cables and interconnections, test harnesses and test jigs
Requirements
- experience of mechanical assembly
- manage own work effectively with minimal supervision
- experience of electrical/electronic assembly
- good organizational skills
- experience of Soldering, Surface mount Soldering would be advantage
- experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- attention to detail
- hand soldering / rework and inspection skills
