Responsibility
- design of our tailored conveying systems
- crafting model and drawings of products using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
- creating Bills of materials
- generating drawing packs
- liaising with the Purchasing and Manufacturing department as and when required
- communicating with customers, sub-contract manufacturers, and the Site installation team
- improving our existing products
Requirements
- minimum 3 years’ experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer is essential
- experience designing conveying equipment would be desirable
- knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor is essential
- good understanding of mechanical assemblies, manufacturing techniques
- experience of specifying motors, gear boxes and fans would be desirable
- strong Problem-solving skills
- keen attention to detail
- great communication skills
