Responsibility

  • the Staff
  • supervise a small team of Venue Assistants and Volunteers and deploy them to make the shift run smoothly
  • communicate event details to staff on shift including special requirements passed on from the Venue and Events Manager
  • help the Venue Manager maximise the performance of all employees through teamwork, motivation and performance management
  • handover thoroughly to colleagues at the end of a shift, maintaining consistency for the artists, clients and visitors
  • assist with the training of new staff members
  • ensure compliance with the venue Health & Safety Policy including paperwork and maintain standards
  • oversee venue cleaning on shift
