Responsibility
- we are currently looking for a Van Driver to carry out scheduled commercial waste collections in Edinburgh
- you will be responsible for dealing with commercial customers, delivering bags, bins and collecting waste
- safe and efficient bin waste collection
- collection and delivery of boxes of bags
- collection and delivery of bins
- provide good customer service to our customers
- general housekeeping of the working area and vehicle
- you will also be required to follow all safe systems of work, checking the condition of the vehicle and fill in any associated paperwork as such
Requirements
- must hold a Drivers License
- able to work as a part of team
- punctual, Flexible and Reliable
- friendly and Courteous to Customers
- flexible working hours
- experience in Waste & Recycling is desirable but not essential
- to learn the route and build relationships with customers
- follow correct manual handling techniques and report any issues and, or damage to bins etc
