- manage a caseload of motor insurance claims from initial notification to settlement, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- assess claim validity, review policy coverage, and investigate claim details to determine liability and settlement options
- communicate with clients, third-party claimants, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information and documentation
- liaise with insurance brokers, repairers, and other service providers to facilitate vehicle inspections, repairs, and settlements
- adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements while handling claims
- maintain accurate claims records, document all activities and correspondence, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- handle complex claims situations with professionalism, tact, and empathy
- identify potential fraud indicators and escalate suspicious claims to the appropriate department
