• communicate effectively with the Operations and Clinical Manager
• ensure kit and drugs are up-to-date before duty
• as an experienced Paramedic with a minimum 3 years experience you will have the opportunity of earning up to £31.50 per hour
• receive clinical handovers and make appropriate judgments
• measure and record baseline observations and act upon clinical needs
• administer regular medication as prescribed
• treat individuals autonomously during unforeseen acute episodes
• ensure respectful and empathetic patient care
• deliver services with high clinical and professional standards
• produce accurate medical notes for ongoing care and audits
• maintain medical welfare of colleagues in the security/HO team

Requirements

• current HCPC registration
• I.H.C.D. or HE Para
• demonstrate Continuous Professional Development and ALS/ILS competencies

• minimum 3 years post-qualification as an HCPC paramedic
• active team collaboration and independent work capability
• basic I.T. skills
• identify and address signs of deteriorating patients
• clear and concise communication, especially with patients
• full driving licence and own transport
• attention to detail and accurate information recording
• smart, professional appearance and conduct
• quick and appropriate decision-making
• knowledge of JESIP
• maintain composure in disruptive/aggressive situations
