process engineer
Responsibility
- to conduct modelling and optimisation of refinery, petrochemical, and chemical processes
- to collect and analyse data, perform economic assessments, contribute to model training and integration, and participate in product testing for projects
- to collaborate with team members and colleagues to enhance the company’s technology and product offerings
- to hold a degree in Chemical Engineering, with a focus on process engineering applied to the oil & gas industry
- to possess knowledge of process simulation through steady state simulation and experience using process engineering software tools and models
- to understand and comply with client requirements when developing project proposals and documentation, following the direction of the Division Leader
- to provide assistance to the Division Leader, Senior Process Engineer, and other company employees as needed
- to utilize process/data analysis techniques to assess the potential of existing processes and propose alternative production methods and operating parameters to improve process performance
Requirements
- modelling and optimisation of refinery, petrochemical, and chemical processes
- understanding of cloud technologies
- experience in Python
- collect and analyse data, perform economic assessments, contribute to model training and integration, and participate in product testing for projects
- understanding and hands-on experience in solving complex data-oriented issues, often requiring literature research
- understanding and experience in ANN and RNN training
- knowledge and/or experience in modelling complex engineering processes from a perspective of data science/machine learning
- possess knowledge of process simulation through steady state simulation or dynamic simulation
