maintenance operative
Requirements
- shift work covering days and nights on a 7/3/7/4 rotation
- co-operate with all other work stream and operational team members to co-ordinate work efforts and ensure activities are sequenced correctly
- carry out examinations under the Planned Preventative Maintenance Scheme for the mine to ensure compliance with legislation
- install and maintain mechanical infrastructure including temporary systems as required by the project and in accordance with relevant regulations
- install and maintain electrical infrastructure including temporary systems as required by the project and in accordance with relevant regulations
- safely isolate mechanical equipment
- safely isolate LV equipment and where authorized safely isolate HV equipment
- systematically fault find and repair defective equipment
Responsibility
- reporting any Health, Safety and Environmental observations, near misses, accidents or incidents to the Superintendent or Manager
