Responsibility

• liaise with internal teams to ensure capacity and stock levels are kept at an agreed level
• support the team with other duties as required, such as covering absences and undertaking projects
• we’re looking for a Trainee Merchandiser/Buyer to join our busy Buying department. The team is headed up by the Buying Manager and currently supported by a team of 5 Assistant and Senior Merchandiser/Buyers

Requirements

• A marketing-related degree or similar qualification
• be familiar with digital marketing techniques and tools, including SEO, PPC, Social, Content, Email. Training can be provided
• strong written communication skills, particularly in relation to writing content, blogs, emails, social posts, etc

Responsibility

• continually maintaining and updating computer systems, ensuring all data is entered accurately in line with company procedures
• using internal systems to prioritise individual and team tasks, and liaising with colleagues in all departments, to ensure tasks and queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently
• answering the telephone/responding to emails and handling customer queries efficiently and quickly

• monitor which products are and are not being ordered and offering alternatives and focussing the sales effort accordingly
