Responsibility
- perform routine automotive maintenance, all kinds of MOT failure’s including class 7 vehicles
- diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures
- conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any additional repair or maintenance needs
- weld and fabricate metal components as needed for repairs or modifications
- provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance recommendations to customers
- keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed on vehicles
- collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
Requirements
- proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician
- strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues
- ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with automotive repair work
- excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- customer service-oriented with good communication skills
- familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus
- automotive repair: 5 years
