Responsibility

  • assisting the Financial Controller in all appropriate areas
  • ownership of the preparation of the quarterly management accounts and assistance in preparing of notes to prepare for the Board

  • ad-hoc financial analysis and research for the Financial Controller and CEO

  • the Senior Accountant role will be responsible for the ownership of all the accounting and bookkeeping of the Group . They will report to the Financial Controller and will have the assistance of a bookkeeper

Requirements

  • the candidate should have an appropriate accounting qualification
  • the candidate must have solid accounting technical knowledge with solid knowledge of all areas of bookkeeping
  • candidate ideally should have experience in the accounting for stock and its complexities due to Prestat being principally a manufacturing business
  • the Ideal candidate we’re looking for is someone that can work on their own initiative and be proactive about making positive change suggestions
  • with an eagerness to come and get stuck in with analysing and setting up processes that are missing and sees the role as an opportunity to make a difference
  • accounting: 3 years
  • the candidate should have experience in preparing VAT returns
  • 3+ years relevant experience in a similar role
