Responsibility
- creating a home away from home atmosphere is part of our commitment to delivering first-class care and support
- ardtully Retirement Residence and Old Shenfield Place are small, friendly and home away from home residential care homes set in the beautiful villages of Ingatestone and Shenfield
- you will also be responsible for liaising with contractors and external professionals to repair or service equipment within the home
- we are currently seeking a self motivated person who is able to use their abilities to ensure that the homes are kept safe for the residents and staff
- as the Health and Safety Maintenance Officer, you will ensure Ardtully Retirement Residence and our sister home Old Shenfield Place have a clean and well-maintained environment so that residents feel at home and staff can do their jobs well
- you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager and will oversee the maintenance and safety of the home, ensuring all aspects of the building and grounds are well kept, ensuring service delivery is unaffected
- you will make health and safety your priority and ensure the highest standards are delivered at all times according to legislative guidelines
- ideally you will have prior experience of working within a maintenance role
