Responsibility
- leading a small team and overseeing the running of this retail outlet
- day to day management and leadership of a small team
- managing the P&L of the business, with support from the Premier Fish team
- ensure the accurate management of fresh, frozen and ambient stock
- preparing and packing orders for customers, including some basic fish preparation
- as the Retail Manager at our high street fishmonger shop, you’ll be part of our exciting venture to provide a traditional fishmonger on Fish Row in Salisbury
- maintaining a safe, clean, and tidy working and retail environment
- backed by the Premier Fish team, you’ll have extensive support and many years of experience to help you maximise this fantastic retail opportunity
Requirements
- some basic knife skills, these could be as a chef with a genuine passion for seafood
- the role could suit an experienced, sociable chef looking to move away from the kitchen environment
- excellent people skills, this role will involve dealing with the public and building an outstanding reputation for service and quality
- good management and leadership skills to help manage a small team
- high standards of presentation and packing
- ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
- able to perform tasks accurately and productively
- strict adherence to health and safety
