Requirements
- demonstrate calm control around dogs
- understand dog welfare and the 5 welfare needs
- must have a relevant animal qualification
- recognise and identify dog behaviours, including aggression and the signs leading up to it
- confidence in handling dogs of all breeds and temperaments
- have relevant qualifications such as animal management level 2 or 3
- have experience working with dogs in a professional manner
- work well in a team
