- ownership is split between several different entities including various family trusts
- experience of the estate’s software programme, Key Prime Accounts, and payroll systems would be desirable
- powis Estates is a dynamic and vibrant traditional rural estate amounting to approximately 14,000 acres with 50 farms and 200 houses as well as commercial, tourism, sporting, mineral and in-hand forestry interests
- due to the retirement of the current post-holder, a permanent position has arisen for a part-time fully qualified or suitably experienced accountant to work alongside a bookkeeper and other office-based staff
- candidates must have a good level of technical knowledge and be up to date with current regulation and requirements
- suitable candidates must be enthusiastic, analytical and suitably experienced whilst having an eye for detail and be prepared to work and adapt as part of a small team to ensure financial compliance and security
