van driver
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- loading and unloading of vehicles
- safely operate a company van to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- basic maintenance of our hire fleet working closely with our engineers
- load and unload items from the van using proper equipment such as a pallet jack or cherry picker
- ensuring equipment returned to the warehouse is inspected, cleaned and serviced
- follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- ensure the warehouse is always kept clean and tidy
- ensure packages are securely loaded and protected during transportation
Requirements
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- previous experience as a van driver or in a similar role preferred
- ability to operate equipment such as a pallet jack or cherry picker
- strong attention to detail and accuracy
- knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to transportation and warehouse operations
- warehouse experience: 1 year
