Responsibility
- deliver high-level technical support to clients, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and security issues
- handle escalated support requests requiring advanced knowledge of Microsoft Server, Windows, Office 365, Azure, Fortinet Fortigate Firewall technologies, VMWare, and HyperV
- utilise Datto RMM for remote monitoring and management of client infrastructures, with a focus on security
- implement, manage, and ensure the security of backup solutions, primarily using Datto
- implement, configure, and troubleshoot Fortinet Fortigate Firewall solutions to ensure the security of our client's networks
- implement and manage virtualised environments using VMWare and HyperV
- collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations, client satisfaction, and robust security protocols
- develop, maintain, and ensure the security of technical documentation and procedures
Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in IT support, preferably within an MSP environment, with a strong focus on IT security
- advanced technical knowledge of Microsoft Server, Windows, Office 365, Azure, Fortinet Fortigate Firewall technologies, VMWare, and HyperV
- experience with Datto RMM and backups is essential
- exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical and security concepts to non-technical clients
- relevant IT certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, Azure Certifications, VMWare Certified Professional , or Fortinet NSE are highly desirable
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
