- an opportunity has arisen for a Farm Manager to join a Grandparent breeder laying farm in South West Scotland
- managing ventilation, heating, lighting, feed and water systems to ensure optimal conditions for bird performance and welfare
- keeping accurate farm records, including data on birds, feed and suppliers
- supervising and coordinating farm staff to ensure efficient daily operations
- maintenance of building and equipment though regular checks and repairs as needed
- covering the Farm Manager during holiday periods
- attention to detail is vital in addition to a good understanding of the factors which affect biological performance
- ensuring compliance with health, safety and welfare standards
