effectively plan and schedule calls to ensure that opportunities are maximised with the right customers at the right time
arrange customer samples, literature and stationery as required
follow up on quotations and sample requests
work in partnership with the Field Sales Team
collaborate with CS, Stock Control & Finance teams to ensure all customer interactions are managed professionally and effectively; from order queries, stock queries and returns to account applications, complaints, customer payments/ arrears etc
deal with basic technical enquiries and provide product information
ensure CRM is fully utilised; all customer meetings, contacts, calls/ activities and sales pipeline movement must be recorded and updated in a timeous fashion
identify and develop strong relationships with the key customer stakeholders who can deliver real value
any other reasonable duties
completely understand the customer needs to develop insights and gain competitive advantage
provide cover for team members’ during busy/holiday periods to minimise impact on customers
assist with the training of colleagues
adhere to all company policies and procedures, including standards of performance and health and safety policy
