Responsibility
- to take a brief from the BDM and/or MD on what is required following their visit or survey
- to produce fully costed proposals with the correct information and designs
- to brief the Designer to produce accurate drawings which will form an integral part of the proposal
- to be able to identify potential issues with the proposed design or measurements and make corrective suggestions
- sense check and challenge the accuracy of information provided by all parties; internal sales and external suppliers
- obtain prices from suppliers and challenge where necessary, for example against known volume discounts
- ask clarifying questions of the BDM and MD
- conduct a professional handover of the final costed proposal back to the BDM and/or MD ready for them to pass it on to the customer, and be able to answer any questions or challenges they may have
Requirements
- understands the estimation and pricing process in a B2B environment
- 5+ years proven experience producing detailed proposals with costings
