Responsibility
- PMA GROUP is seeking a Buyer to join our team in Leicester
- prolong excellent relationships with the existing suppliers and research potential new suppliers
- monitor stock levels and identify purchasing requirements
- liaise with warehouse to ensure that the delivered stock is correct and in acceptable condition
- track orders and ensure timely deliveries to maintain a fully stocked inventory
- conduct market research to identify pricing trends
- stay in touch with the suppliers as required to confirm or change orders throughout the whole process from creating the order to receiving it
Requirements
- prior experience in a similar procurement, purchasing, or buying role within a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred
- strong communication and negotiating skills
- self-motivated and focused, with a flexible attitude
- good attention to detail
