Responsibility

  • overseeing Club Managers and Deputy Managers the setting up of After School and Holiday Clubs ahead of children arriving
  • ensure staff are trained to provide food, care, play opportunities and activities for all children
  • managing and leading staff with regular meetings, driving safe recruitment to ensure appropriate staff are employed to engage with children
  • liaising with parents building strong relationships and open communication
  • liaise with school to maintain strong relationships with regards to children who attend the club
  • ensuring children’s needs and safety are met at all times during their time at the club
  • leading the day-to-day management and organisation of the After School Club and implementing new ideas and activities based on the Reggio Emilia pedagogy
  • ensuring Ofsted regulatory compliance policies, safeguarding and first adid standards are adhered to
