- to deputise for the Nursery Manager
- to be the lead practitioner in the setting, modelling highly effective practice
- to supervise and appraise nursery staff as directed
- to ensure that the nursery is a safe environment for children, staff and others
- to support the manager in the day to day finances and budget of the setting
- reports to: Nursery Manager
Requirements
- education & Minimum Level 3 qualification in Children and Young Food Hygiene Certificate
- qualifications Peoples Workforce or equivalent. Paediatric First Aid
- experience/ *Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Two or more years relevant
- knowledge Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance. experience
- at least one year’s recent relevant experience, ideally working as a senior practitioner or room leader
- knowledge and proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunities
