Responsibility
- develop and improve quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- conduct regular audits and inspections of laboratory processes, equipment, and documentation to identify areas for improvement
- monitor and analyse quality control data to identify trends, deviations, and potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
- collaborate with laboratory staff to develop and implement training programs on quality assurance protocols and procedures
- maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality assurance activities, including audit reports, corrective action plans, and training records
- investigate and resolve quality-related issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances in a timely manner
- coordinate with external agencies and auditors during regulatory inspections and audits
- stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to laboratory quality assurance
Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field required; advanced degree preferred
- certification in quality management is required
- minimum of 5 years of experience in a laboratory quality management role, preferably in a regulated industry
- strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to laboratory operations including UKAS and ISO 17025 or similar
- experience conducting audits, inspections, and investigations, and implementing corrective and preventive actions
- being a Quality Manager : 5 years
