Responsibility
- perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trims for dogs
- assess the condition of pets' coats, skin, and overall health
- provide basic grooming maintenance, including ear cleaning and teeth brushing
- handle pets with care and ensure their safety throughout the grooming process
- communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests
- maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
- monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues during the grooming process
- provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns and going beyond and above for your clients
Requirements
- at least 3 years salon experience, high standard of grooms
- previous Management experience not essential
- knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- strong animal care skills and understanding of animal behavior
- excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- ability to handle pets of various sizes and temperaments with patience and compassion
- physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform heavy lifting when necessary
- 5 working days including Saturdays every week
