Responsibility

  • thoresby offers a range of hospitality services including a cafeteria, bar, and events held within the park and surrounding grounds
  • the service requirements operate 7 days a week with hospitality and events services available in the evenings as needed
  • cover the Catering Manager in their absence
  • accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, ensuring that all staff understand they are part of a “one team approach”
  • demonstrates and ensures the highest level of customer service is communicated and embedded within the team
  • develop the food and service offer ensuring that standards are high and constantly innovating and on-trend
  • accountable for Food Safety, COSHH, H&S, and duty of care to customers and colleagues
  • work closely with the manager, checking and implementing standards daily, and supervising events

Requirements

  • the candidate will have appropriate training and work experience in a comparable facility, ideally with some food preparation skills
  • they will have a proven track record of organisational skills as well as leadership and management capabilities
  • A high level of communication skills is important
  • the ideal candidate is highly reliable, has very good stamina, can work under pressure, and can multi-task
