Responsibility
- liaising with manufacturers for quality, timely and budgetary issues. Ensuring proper delivery schedule aligned with cash flows and customer delivery requirements
- ensure compliance with health and safety standards and implement best practices to maintain a safe working environment
- monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks here, remotely abroad, and coordinate with relevant departments to optimise stock levels
- collaborate with the procurement team to coordinate deliveries and resolve any discrepancies
- maintaining the shipper price matrix and consistently ensure value for money
- manage day to day customer orders, ensuring high quality customer service and prompt delivery, revolving around proper coordination of incoming materials from manufacturers, relevant inventory/warehousing rotation and control
- improve logistic costs where possible
- ensure communication with clients in the context of order processing
