Responsibility

  • preparation and submission of year-end accounts to HMRC and Companies House for Sole Traders, Limited Companies and Partnerships
  • preparation and submission of Corporation Tax Computations
  • preparation and submission of quarterly VAT Returns
  • preparation and submission of Confirmation Statements
  • client Payroll; weekly, monthly, and yearly
  • preparation and submission of monthly CIS returns
  • managing and mentoring junior members of the team

Requirements

  • competent user of accounting software such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
  • knowledge of professional regulations and best practice
  • be passionate about customers and service, with a strong will to make a difference
  • to be self-motivated, prioritising and multitasking effectively
  • must be able to communicate with team members effectively
  • competent user of Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of Outlook
  • must have a high level of attention to detail
  • accounting: 5 years
