Responsibility

  • complete customer open order reports and updating the customer with the delivery dates from our ERP system
  • liaise with the purchasing team to expedite parts
  • send order confirmations to customers via the ERP system
  • register customer quotations on the ERP system and send out to the Sales team
  • update information on a customer sales activity database
  • process customers’ orders and enter onto the ERP system - Accuracy of information from the customer order transferred to our system is vital, to ensure the part numbers, quantity and price are correct
  • liaise with the shipping department to despatch any urgent orders as per customer requests
  • progress orders on the system and update the customer as per the request. This could include trying to improve delivery of a part for the customer
