Responsibility

  • responsible for collecting and maintaining all relevant school asset data to inform asset planning and submission of data to DfE
  • to take the Client lead on the London Dock secondary school project costing £65m, including managing the Client’s budget, agreeing additional works within the agreed contingency and representing the Directorate with the public and other agencies
  • to oversee arrangements for monitoring schools’ compliance with statutory testing requirements and to report non-compliance to the Head of School Buildings Development
  • to take the lead in instructing Council’s Capital Delivery Team on requirements for specific schemes, ensuring all information is provided to ensure implementation in accordance with programme requirements
