Responsibility
- hunt’s Food Group is the South’s leading family run food wholesaler and manufacturer working with businesses across the UK
- hunt's Food Group is proud to be a certified B corporation
- growing and maintaining sales of Hunt’s customers in the Sheffield and Leeds areas
- looking for new business on the area to a targeted value
- maintaining and actively increasing area margin to ensure profitability
- working with transport and Operations to ensure a smooth delivery service and address any problems
- visiting and speaking to a mixed customer base of retail and catering customers to sell in products and offer menu and range advice
- it’s our aim to create, sell and deliver great tasting food that is loved by everyone! We have recently opened a new depot in Nottingham and are expanding rapidly
Requirements
- proven ability to learn new things. We expect the successful candidate to take the initiative, ask questions, look for continuous improvement and be accountable for their actions
- working collaboratively with others in the sales team and with key stakeholders around the business. It is important for this candidate to be able to think of the bigger picture, not just the importance of one’s own agenda
- strong organisational, time-management and prioritisation abilities. The candidate will need to be approachable and enthusiastic. This is a fast-paced role which will compliment an individual who thrives in that environment
