Responsibility
- pelham Laboratories Ltd are looking for a Manufacturing & Production Quality Control Inspector to ensure that the cosmetic bulk and filled units produced in our manufacturing and production facility met the required quality parameters
- arranging for samples of manufactured products to be sent to out to our sub-contracted microbiological laboratory
- reporting to the Quality Manager, the role will be based in the brand-new manufacturing area and will involve routine analysis and monitoring of the manufacturing and filling processes to ensure that products manufactured are of highest possible quality and integrity
- making sure any quality control issues identified are recorded and investigated following the appropriate procedures
- ensuring retained samples from every batch of product are taken, logged, and stored appropriately
- applying routine laboratory analytical procedures; including organoleptic assessment, pH measurement, recoding of the relative density and taking viscometry readings of the manufactured cosmetic creams liquids and gels
- carrying out routine scheduled in-process quality checks for the products being produced on the filling lines. This involves regular fill level and cap torque measurements as well as ensuring the products comply the approved specifications
