Responsibility
- month-end book-keeping ensuring all transactions are posted to the correct GL code and production of management accounts
- responsible for managing the payment process, ensuring the correct governance is followed, and processing payments through the bank
- invoicing customers and donors, working with the Deputy CEO to ensure these are sent out and cash received on time
- support the budgeting and forecasting process by helping to collate data and create financial forecasts
- be able to recommend process improvements and support the transition to best practice processes and documentation
- other ad-hoc support as required
- producing monthly reports and management accounts for budget holders, SLT and Trustees as required
- monthly payroll, including collation of monthly payroll data, ensuring employee, NI and pension payments are made on a timely basis and payslips are sent out
