Responsibility

  • the Duty Managers will work closely with the Head of Events and Event Manager and Head of F&B Operations to support the operation, production and execution of the Peckham Levels hospitality and events programme
  • it is the responsibility of the Duty Manager to manage the venue’s existing events and to deliver these experiences to the highest standard
  • the duty manager will go above and beyond to support the team, reacting and adapting to any challenges thrown their way. It will be imperative that the successful candidate can manage multiple responsibilities across varying priorities
  • inspecting equipment for damage after use. Reporting any damage
  • packing up equipment when the event is completed
  • liaising with local police, fire and environmental health organisations if & when visiting the site
  • attend all training, briefings and meetings
  • monitoring of cleanliness, security, footfall, music, lighting, temperature, customer behaviour and all other elements contributing to the atmosphere on site
