Responsibility
- assist patients with daily activities related to treatment or medication use such as bathing, grooming, eating, dressing, etc
- assist with communication with patients regarding upcoming appointments, changes in treatment or medication regimen, etc
- record and post patient information such as patient demographics, medical records, and prescriptions in a timely manner
- provide patients with instructions on how to properly use products and apply treatments resulting in an enjoyable experience for the patient
- perform other tasks related to patient care such as laundering bedding, replacing towels and linens, etc
- ensure compliance with health care regulations at all times
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not essential a training will be provided
- ability to communicate with patients in a professional yet caring manner
- ability to adapt to a diverse team environment and last minute changes
- ability to demonstrate patience and compassion when dealing with difficult or challenging patients/customers
- ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- flexibility to work various shifts including evenings/weekends/holidays as needed
- strong attention to detail and ability to remain organized and on-task during busy times. Ability to remain flexible to suit the nature of the business
