Responsibility
- the Peak Group are an electronics engineering company based in the heart of Letchworth Garden City
- with over 35 years’ experience of innovation in the military, aerospace, medical, rail, automotive, power generation and industrial electronics markets
- fully set and operate 3 axis CNC milling machines
- able to interpret engineering drawings and tolerances
- manual machining of parts. Turning experience is an advantage but not a must
- help to improve cycle times and processes
- responsible for inspecting your own work
- the Peak Group is a proven provider of automated test and measurement solutions supporting every stage of the assembly process from component testing to highly complex functional solutions
Requirements
- apprenticeship or formal qualification in mechanical/manufacturing engineering is desirable
- relevant experience on CNC Milling Machines
- ability to read and understand CNC programmes using machine interface
- ability to program CNC parts an advantage
- CNC: 3 years
- manual machining: 3 years
- LETCHWORTH GARDEN CITY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
