- experience with 3D printing, FDM and SLA
- ability to translate complex user needs into intuitive design solutions
- strong understanding of human factors and ergonomics
- knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection moulding, extrusion, fabrication
- experience: 3-5 years of experience in product design, in-house or consultancy based
- product Design: 3 years
Responsibility
- design Development: Lead and contribute to the design process from concept to final product, including ideation, sketching, CAD, prototyping, and testing
- user Research: Organise and conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions
- collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet user needs and technical requirements
- CAD: Create detailed 3D models and CAD drawings for prototyping and manufacture using Solidworks
- QMS/EMS: Manage and upholding the QMS and EMS process as set out in our ISO documentation
- project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining project plans, recording time spent and expenses
- documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation and specifications
