PCF RESIDENTIAL CHILDCARE is looking for employees for positions:

Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • overseeing the day-to-day running of the children's home, ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to
  • provide leadership and support to staff members and promote a positive and nurturing environment for the children in our care
  • recruit, train, and supervise staff members to ensure that they meet the needs of the children in our care
  • managing budgets and resources effectively, and ensuring that the home operates in a financially sustainable manner
  • develop and implement care plans for each child in the home
  • ensure that the home is compliant with Ofsted regulations and that all inspections are passed with a rating of "Good" or above
  • work collaboratively with external stakeholders, such as social workers and healthcare professionals, to ensure that the children receive the best possible care
  • ensuring that all safeguarding procedures are followed, and that the welfare of the children in our care is paramount at all times

Requirements

  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • previous experience working as a Registered Manager within a children's home setting
  • knowledge and understanding of legislation, regulations and guidance relating to residential childcare
  • experience working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
  • experience in recruiting, managing and developing a team of staff
  • registered Manager : 1 year
