Responsibility
overseeing the day-to-day running of the children's home, ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to
provide leadership and support to staff members and promote a positive and nurturing environment for the children in our care
recruit, train, and supervise staff members to ensure that they meet the needs of the children in our care
managing budgets and resources effectively, and ensuring that the home operates in a financially sustainable manner
develop and implement care plans for each child in the home
ensure that the home is compliant with Ofsted regulations and that all inspections are passed with a rating of "Good" or above
work collaboratively with external stakeholders, such as social workers and healthcare professionals, to ensure that the children receive the best possible care
ensuring that all safeguarding procedures are followed, and that the welfare of the children in our care is paramount at all times
Requirements
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent
previous experience working as a Registered Manager within a children's home setting
knowledge and understanding of legislation, regulations and guidance relating to residential childcare
experience working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties
excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
experience in recruiting, managing and developing a team of staff
registered Manager : 1 year
