  • payroll input/preparation
  • supervise weekly and monthly payrolls via Sage payroll
  • processing new starters/leavers, P45/P46’s
  • dealing with SMP/SSP
  • auto enrolment pension contributions
  • HMRC Submissions
  • dealing with payroll queries
  • year end payroll processing

Requirements

  • an excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure
  • strong analytical & numerical skills
  • have an enthusiastic and conscientious attitude towards work
  • be a competent user of Sage Payroll
  • have the ability to work under own initiative and also fit well into an existing team
  • demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with a variety of colleagues
  • prior experience of using Sage 200 would also be an advantage
