Requirements

  • 2 or more years property maintenance or related experience desirable
  • full, clean driving licence is essential
  • part P Domestic Electrical qualification desirable
  • general Maintenance
  • basic electrical
  • plumbing / drainage qualifications / experience desirable
  • basic plumbing

Responsibility

  • complete general external and internal maintenance work as directed
  • general interior / exterior cleaning
  • holding property keys and keeping them secure
  • perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
  • interior and Exterior painting and decorating as required
  • respond to calls from tenants, assessing priorities, evaluating the work required, getting any parts required from approved suppliers, implementing the fix in a timely manner, keeping the tenants aware of timescales and progress as necessary
  • unblock sinks, traps and waste pipes and adjusting/repairing/replacing sanitary goods
  • ensure that the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards
