- preparing a wide variety of dishes following traditional and modern recipes with seasonality at the forefront
- working openly with management in the creation of new dishes and menus
- actively communicating with fellow team members
- working at pace and efficiently multi-tasking when needed
- effectively managing stock-control and budgets according to company guidelines
- keeping stations stocked, well-organised and tidy at all times
- supervising food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and standards
- adhering to company standards and following Food Safety and Health & Safety legislation
Requirements
- chef experience
- A keen eye for detail and standards
- understanding and knowledge of ingredients and seasonality
- openness to share your professional knowledge and experience with your colleagues
- allergen and nutrition awareness
- food Safety Level 2 Qualification preferred
- ability to remain calm under pressure
- food preparation: 2 years
