Responsibility
- operate an HGV oil tanker in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies
- conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition
- load and unload oils securely via delivery hose
- plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times while adhering to legal driving hours
- maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company procedures
- communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during deliveries
- uphold cleanliness and maintenance of the lorry, reporting any mechanical issues promptly
Requirements
- previous experience as a Commercial Driver or Delivery Driver is highly desirable
- familiarity with lorry operations is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining delivery schedules and documentation
- excellent communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and clients
