Responsibility

  • be fully responsible for our small kitchen
  • plan, prepare and cook balanced and nutritious meals and snacks, taking into account special dietary needs and allergies
  • be creative when further developing our child friendly menus using healthy fresh ingredients
  • regulate kitchen stocks control and collate food purchasing orders
  • promote healthy eating with children and staff and possibly undertake some cooking activities with the older children
  • clean up all meals and snacks throughout the day
  • maintain high levels of cleanliness in all aspects of work
  • observe high standards of food hygiene during the preparation, cooking and serving of all foods
