delivery driver
Working hours
- part-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- you may be asked to help at the weekend on occasions
- weekends will be occasionally on a rota. A knowledge of the local area would be helpful but not essential

- no experience or qualifications required, but someone with excellent time keeping and happy to work early mornings is essential
- the position is a permanent vacancy working 2 mornings a week , and being flexible to work extra shifts covering sickness and holidays
- the position is a permanent vacancy working 3 mornings a week, totalling 8 hours and being flexible to work extra shifts covering sickness and holidays
- the round takes 3.5 hours to complete and our deliver drivers are usually back at our office before 9:00am
- newspapers and goods are collected from our Yeovil office ready to leave at 5am. Once all deliveries are complete all drivers will be required to return to the office to bring back shop returns, spare goods etc
Requirements
- A smartphone is preferred to access our delivery app, but not essential as roundsheets will be provided
- full training and support will be given to be shown the delivery route, and self learning will be encouraged
- ideal candidates would be suited to getting up early and morning work
- reliability and excellent time keeping is essential as lateness has a major effect on our customers
- A full driving licence and use of your own vehicle is required
