Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- to carry out duties in line with current policies and procedures
- reporting to the Registered Manager
- to act as a responsible key worker to specific children and young people
- promoting structure, boundaries, and domestic routines within the home
- working in line with children and young people’s care and placement plans
- co-operating with any inspection process
- provide a positive role model for the young people, presenting yourself in a highly professional manner
- work in partnership with other agencies to the benefit of the young people
Requirements
- supervisory Experience in a Residential Setting: 1 year
- recent Residential Childcare: 2 years
- children, Young People and Families Practitioner Apprenticeship or Equivalent. Minimum of 2 years support worker experience in a Registered Children’s Residential Home
